My prepping skills were put to the test recently after my town was struck by a tornado. I invited some people on the show who are further ahead than I am to talk about “prepping” basics. Here’s what we talk about:

  • Changing our perceptions and mindset around “prepping”
  • Different scenarios require different types of preparation
  • Being prepared vs being afraid
  • Becoming less reliant on the system
  • Empowering yourself
  • Prepping basics
  • Energy
  • Food: growing and preserving food
  • Water
  • Tools to be able to transact when the power is out
  • The pros and cons of cash, gold, silver and crypto currency
  • Items to store for trade and barter
  • The power of community and doing away with terms like “self-reliance” and “self-sustainability”

We can supply solar freezer that will stay at -21C 24/7 using solar energy only. We store low cost solar energy into saturated ice with salt. We can do very big one ideaslly connected to this cooling desalination technology. Since you need 5 times less electricity and use low cost solar electricity. Saving food is like saving gold since we will save some of the food that is wasted right now. We also get the salt for free as a byproduct. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAXN4xiCbuo
