#058: Nutrigenomics and Genetics

by Brett Hawes

Nutrigenomics is the study of the interaction between nutrition and genes. Without a doubt one of the hot-button topics right now. The field of nutrigenomics is set to be worth $600bn by 2020. Fellow Uforia Science Advisory Board member, Dr Jen Myers, joins me today to discuss nutrigenomics, genetics and Uforia Science.

By the end of this episode you will have a clearer understanding of what nutrigenomics is, how it works and why you should consider it as part of your health regimen. Dr Myers shares some insight into the SNP’s (genetic “weaknesses” Uforia tests for). We also discuss how health practitioners can implement this into their practice.
